Oval Proofing Basket (10 in.)

Description

This handmade, 10-inch oval proofing basket, or banneton, is made from 100% natural rattan. The material helps to wick moisture away from the surface of your dough creating a skin which is ideal for baking a superb crust. This product also comes with a cloth liner which can be used to eliminate the need for excess flour. This medium-size proofing basket is capable of holding up to 800g (or about 1.75 lbs) of dough.
