Oval Proofing Basket (13 in.)

Description

This handmade, 13-inch oval proofing basket, or banneton, is made from 100% natural rattan. The material helps to wick moisture away from the surface of your dough creating a skin which is ideal for baking a superb crust. This product also comes with a cloth liner which can be used to eliminate the need for excess flour. This is our largest proofing basket and is capable of holding just over 1kg (about 2–2.5 lbs) of dough.
