Are you interested in baking baguettes? Then it’s time to invest in your own Baker’s Couche, also known as a proofing cloth. The couche naturally wicks away moisture from the surface of your dough, while also preventing it from fully drying out. This allows a skin to form, a necessary step to achieving that sought after crust. Our couche is 24″ wide and 59″ long, allowing you to load up anywhere from 2 to 8 baguettes. Just roll one end to create a border – load your baguettes creating little walls between each one. Then fold the excess over the top and your ready to proof.
